Company Overview

Founded in 1982, on the basis of previous experiences in the insurance industry software development market, SIA is a joint stock company with audited financial statements since 1986 and with € 4.200.000 in outstanding stock.

SIA's headquarters are located in Bassano del Grappa. The Commercial Unit, responsible for covering the majority of the Italian market, is located in Milan, while professional and development support units with considerable expertise in specific business areas operate in Bergamo, Bologna, Como and Pordenone.

For the past several years, SIA has been working with international scope and has launched important partnerships within several regions: more specifically, it has set up business representatives in Cuba, Spain, Portugal and Germany to support companies operating in these countries and which use SIA products.

Business Volumes

Over the last year, SIA's turnover was more than € 9.000.000. Since SIA does not sell any third-party hardware or software, this turnover was generated almost exclusively by our "core business": usage licenses for our software products and maintenance and consulting services.

The rapid growth on the market of SIA's Business Solutions means that more than 25.000 users run their operations with them on a daily basis. About 8.400 usage licenses are deployed on-site at companies, multifirm agents and brokers.

SIA guarantees technical support to this large customer base through a rich and vast structure of high-value insurance industry IT professionals. Over the last Year, SIA has supplied about 34.000 days of work, which translates into more than 160 man-years of technical and commercial support to its business customers.
